I have been involved in music since the 2nd grade when I began to play violin. I later learned how to play guitar, piano, viola and cello. I have played in school orchestras. I also have many years of experience playing piano in churches and leading the music group as well as over 15 years of teaching privately.
My education as been at California State University East Bay and more recently at Los Medanos College in Pittsburg. I normally use the Bastien piano method and the Suzuki Method for strings. I also begin to add other music and styles adapted to the student’s level and desires as they advance. But I am adaptable and wiling to use other methods if you prefer.
